  31. How and what can be achieved by day trading?

  32. Common misconceptions; You have to be sat at your screen 10 hours a day. 100 trades a day? Stressful. You need 10 screens. Burn out. Account size. High intelligence.

  33. How much time? You only need 1-3 trades a day. How much is realistic? Let’s start with 20% a month. Factor in missed trading days, losing days etc.... 10% a month. Half percent a day.

  34. £10,000 account. Don’t focus on the end result, focus on making £50 a day. 3 trades at £3 per point risking £90 per trade. Across the three trades, you would only have to average 16 points or 5.5 points per trade. Does that sound achievable? And you are never risking more than 0.9%.

  35. What about trading at £2 per point but aiming for 10 points per trade? 3 trades is £60. How much do you have to risk per trade? 20 points is just 0.4%.

  36. What about a £1000 account? £5 per day makes 10% a month. Remember 10% a month is over 120% a year compounded. Why don’t most traders achieve this? Because they don’t stick to their plan! What about aiming for 5% a month? £25 a day on a £10,000 account and just £2.50 a day on a £1000 account.

  37. What about if you just want to beat what you make on deposit? Ok, so let’s go for 1% a month. That’s £5 a day on a £10,000 account and 50p and a £1000 account! That’s still 12% a year! Break down goals....

  38. What do consistently profitable traders do that is different? It’s not the strategy.... It’s the application. When buying into a breakout or pullback within a trend, how is the price action? Protecting your trade.... Do I enter one position at £10 a point or 5 increments of £2?

  39. £20 a point with a 20 point stop or £10 a point with a 40 point stop? Trading style depends on the above. Can you get into a position where your trade is paid for? Are you confident in your trades? Testing? I only trade when there’s money laying around.... Have the discipline not to trade...

  40. Taking £32k to £45k in 5 weeks. Solely done on Euro and cable. Could it be luck? Over 920 trade transactions. Lot’s of small gains. No big drawdowns.
