EL Rincon Mission • To provide an environment that prepares students to develop necessary skills to be successful in tomorrow’s global community. • Provide state-of-the-art science and computer labs to support our goal of providing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education. • A continued emphasis on literacy • Reading • Academic and creative writing across all content areas.

  3. What is Title I Title I is a K-12 program that provides additional academic support and learning opportunities for students. The program is intended to help ensure that all students meet state academic standards.

  6. School Site Council (SSC) • Parent’s opportunity to be involved in the academic program of the school • Develops, monitors, and evaluates the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) to implement programs and services that support students.

  7. Single Plan for Students Achievement • Parents are informed about the school’s curriculum in English/ Language Arts and Math, as well as other core subjects. • Parents receive information about the assessments used to measure student progress in academic areas.

  8. Title I Parent Involvement Policy&Home/School Compact • In the Parent-Student Handbook • Developed by the School Site Council • Parent input is welcomed • Available in the school office
