  1. Management Plan : is designed to add a new generation wide field bolometer camera to the JCMT GOAL:To maximize the science yield in the context of future facilities What is the minimum time to results? Estimate 6 years as the minimum possible time to results with realistic risk management

Contributing organisations • Key organizations: • ATC Key skills and experience in major projects including SCUBA • NIST The clear leader in TES technology, SQUID Muxes and control electronics • U of E Demonstrated expertise in Si micro-machining + technology development in the UK • QMW Key technologies and expertise, in filters, FTS testing, window materials, detector testing • JAC The customer plus key experience with SCUBA

  3. Key Staff Positions • Key positions: • Project Manager Internationally distributed project - good project management skills plus technical contribution • Project Scientist Active mm/submm observer and scientist with “customer view point” and good laboratory skills

  4. Key Staff Positions • Key positions: • Systems Engineer Experienced project/systems engineer to manage all the technical complexity of the project from capturing requirements to delivering the verified instrument • Instrument Scientist Good laboratory scientist, ideally with clean room experience
