The National Collaborative to Improve PrimAryCare Through Industrial and Systems Engineering (I-PrACTISE) invites you to our 3rd annual meeting. This collaborative, started by the late Ben-Tzion Karsh, Ph.D., has brought together experts in Primary Care and Industrial and Systems Engineering over a 13 year period to improve the quality and efficiency of primary health care.

Past meetings have been supported by AHRQ R13 HS23028-01, the Ben-Tzion Karsh Education and Research Fund, the Wisconsin Medical Society, MetaStar, St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center and the Departments of Industrial and Systems Engineering, the UW Departments of Family Medicine, Medicine, Pediatrics and the School of Pharmacy.

We invite Industrial Engineers, Primary Care clinicians and allied disciplines to join us. There will be plenary talks by recognized experts, podium sessions and poster sessions. The deadline for poster and presentation submissions is January 31, 2015.

The conference will open with a Welcome and networking reception at 6 PM on Sunday. We plan to conclude activities with an open lunch meeting of the National Advisory Council at noon, Tuesday.
