  15. AFL CHAMPIONS • Purpose: To lead school AFL implementation during PLC Early Release days and throughout the year as needed

  16. AFL CHAMPION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Attend Summer AFL Academy • Plan and facilitate AFL Kickoff on District PD Day • Plan and facilitate 5 Early Release Days • Meet regularly with principal • Manage PLC document storage

  17. CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, ASSESSMENT ALIGNMENT (CIA2 ) Team • Purpose: To support AFL implementation by improving the alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment

  18. ASSESSMENT DEVELOPMENT

  19. CIA2RESPONSIBILITIES: • Attend Assessment Review Sessions (or send an alternate) • Share follow-up form during PLCs • CONSTANTLY refer to follow-up form to improve alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment • Serve as contact person for CIA updates

  20. CIA2 ASSESSMENT REVIEW SCHEDULE 1st Quarter Assessment Preview Make-up Session: August 16th @ Carrington Middle 8:30-10:30: Elementary 11:00-1:00: Middle 2:00-4:00: High

LOCAL ASSESSMENTS Grade/Subjects with SGAs and CAs • Reading: Grades 3-8 • High School English I • Math: Grades 3-8 • Middle School Algebra • Middle School Geometry (CAs only) • High School Algebra I • High School Algebra II • High School Geometry (CAs Only) • Science: Grades 5, 6 & 8 (CAs only) • Biology (CAs only)

  22. SGA/CA RESPONSIBILITIES • Print answer sheets • Distribute assessment materials • Scan answer sheets by the end of the day • Provide Achievement Series logins, training, and support (check MLP for training dates)
