  • The Director of L & M Studio, a local design workshop, Larry Heintjes, a skilled carpenter, master mold and cabinetmaker and art restorer/fabricator, coordinates all aspects of design, construction and installation for museums, architects, contractors and galleries.

  • Whether he’s working in plastic, wood, oil paints, or gouache, Larry’s private artistic landscape accommodates eclectic nuances achieving fantastic metaphors and shades of meaning. Inspired by biomorphic forms in many manifestations, his work is a jumping-off point for a curious mind and a frequently surrealistic imagination. The pieces are rich in detail yet mysterious enough to confound and to instigate further inquiry.
