    • Submitted articles undergo Peer-Review before being accepted for publication

What is the Peer-Review process?
  • Purpose: unbiased evaluation of the quality of research and paper
  • Author submits manuscript to journal editor
  • Editor sends ‘blind copy’ to three expert reviewers (peer-reviewers)
  • Reviewers comment on and evaluate manuscript
    • accept, accept with revisions, reject
  • Editor returns manuscript with comments and evaluation (without reviewer’s names) to author.
