Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction • Est in 2003 as CPA-IG/2004 re-designated as SIGIR • Oversight responsibility for • $18.4B Iraq Relief and Reconstruction Fund (IRRF) • $14.5B Iraq reconstruction funds appropriated in FY 2006 • Provides information/analysis on U.S. reconstruction plans, programs & ops in Iraq • Will terminate 10 months after 80% of funds are expended
