  2. LEVERETT M. ROGERS • Died at Philadelphia, PA • Son of Russell Rogers • Enlisted in Company F, First Conn, Heavy Artillery – May 23, 1861 Died at Haggarstown, MD July 23, 1861 and buried there.

  3. JOSEPH O. BLAIR • Born in Canada and removed with father’s family to North Haven • Enlisted Company C, Fifth Conn – June 21, 1861 Killed at Battle of Cedar Mountain, VA August 9, 1862 and buried on the field.

  4. JOHN McCORMICK • Born in Ireland and removed with his father’s family to North Haven • Enlisted Company D, Fifth Conn – July 22, 1861 Killed at the Battle of Peach Tree Creek in Georgia July 20, 1864 and buried on the field.

  5. FREDERIC G. EATON • Adopted son of Jesse O. Eaton • Enlisted in Company I, Seventh Conn – September 13, 1861 Killed at the Battle of Pocotaligo, SC October 1862 and buried on the field.

  6. THEODORE BRADLEY • Known to many as “Milly Mix” • Son of Laura Ranger • Enlisted Company H, Seventh Conn – September 15, 1861 • Re-enlisted as a veteran December 22, 1863 Served continuously with his regiment until wounded in an engagement south of James River, VA. He was sent North and died of smallpox in the hospital at New Haven, CT. Buried in New Haven.

  7. HARVEY S. HOADLEY • Born in North Haven the son of John and __ (Tyler) Hoadley • Enlisted in Company A, Tenth Conn – September 27, 1861 Killed at the Battle of Kingston, NC December 15, 1862 and buried on the field.

  8. OLIVER T. SMITH • Born in North Haven son of Hiram and Patty Smith – 1839 • Enlisted Company C, Tenth Conn – October 22, 1861 • Re-enlisted as a veteran January 1, 1864 Oliver was killed at the Battle of Darbytown Crossroads October 13, 1864 and buried in his blanket with five others a short distance from where he fell.

  9. HOBART A. BASSETT • Born in North Haven son of Anson and Phoebe (Barnes) Bassett • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 9, 1862 Died at Fairfax Seminary, VA November 17, 1862 and buried in North Haven.

  10. EDGAR S. BRADLEY • Born in North Haven son of Abijah and Hannah (Hemingway) Bradley • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 12, 1862 Died in Washington DC February 10, 1863 and buried in North Haven.

  11. HENRY CULVER • Born in North Haven son of Caleb and Nancy (Brockett) Culver • Enlisted Company B, Fifteenth Conn – August 7, 1862 Died of Yellow Fever at Newburgh NC on October 3, 1864 and buried there.

  12. RUSSELL HILLS • Born in Cheshire CT 1821 and removed to North Haven in 1862 • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 13, 1862 Died in a hospital near Fredericksburg VA January 10, 1863 and buried in North Haven.

  13. SAMUEL M. LINSLEY • Born in North Haven son of Alfred and Polly (Frisbie) Linsley • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 9, 1862 Buried in North Haven.

  14. JACOB F. LINSLEY • Born in North Haven son of Alfred and Polly (Frisbie) Linsley • Enlisted Company F, First Conn, Heavy Artillery – March 12, 1862and discharged without service April 1, 1862 • Enlisted Second Company, Fifteenth Conn – August 9, 1862 Died at Washington DC March 1, 1863 and buried in North Haven.

  15. AUGUSTUS G. MORSE • Born in North Haven son of Samuel and Betsey (Doolittle) Morse • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 11, 1862 Died in the hospital at Portsmouth VA August 20, 1863 and buried in Wallingford CT.

  16. MILTON P.(B?) PARDEE • Born in East Haven, 1844 • Lived with Justus F. Brockett of North Haven previous to the war • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 9, 1862 Died in the hospital at Fairfax Seminary VA January 23, 1863 and buried there.

  17. MERTON L. SMITH • Born in North Haven 1841, son of Julius and Rebecca (Eaton) Smith • Enlisted Company K, Fifteenth Conn – August 9, 1862 Died in the hospital at Bedloe’s Island, New York Harbor, April 8, 1863 and buried in North Haven.

  18. HORACE WATERS • Born in North Haven 1814, son of Jesse and Betsey Waters • Enlisted in Regular Army, Fourteenth US • Details of service unknown Died and was buried in Elmira, New York.

  19. ELSWORTH H. BRADLEY • Born in North Haven, son of Barzillia and Esther (Hamilton) Bradley • Enlisted in Regular Army, Company K, Third Infantry – May 14, 1858 • Re-enlisted in the “General Service” Department in 1863 and served in Washington DC Died in Washington DC June 27, 1864 and buried there.

  20. ELBERT C. CLARKE • Born in North Haven, 1842, son of Sylvester and Marie (Bristol) Clarke • Enlistment in Naval Service Died of Yellow Fever in Pensacola, Florida September 12, 1863 and buried there.
