  6. DEVELOPMENTAL Expectations change because of your age Examples: • No recess, nap time, etc. • Graduation • Marriage • Empty nest syndrome

  7. SELF-ESTEEM Anything that makes you feel less of a person Examples: • Rape • I failed… • “isms”...

  8. OBJECTS Loss of any physical object Examples: • Childhood home • Gifts • Possessions
