  8. Flemish ICH policy • Inspiredby the Unesco Conventionforsafeguarding the ICH (2006) & the Faro Convention • In 2010 the Flemish minister for culture published her vision tekst on ICH policy

  9. ICH policy in Flanders • The Flemishgovernment cultivates 3 roles: • Conducting a facilitating (not a directive/ restrictive) policy • Quality controlling & moderation of the ICH-network in Flanders • Stimulatinginternational policy making & cooperation (f.i. Flemish Trust Fund)
