  1. What Are cPanel IMAP Settings? IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol. It is used to access the email messages on a remote mail server from an email client. You can configure an IMAP account in multiple email clients because IMAP downloads only the copy of the message from the mail server. The cPanel IMAP settings include an incoming mail server, SSL settings, and ports. If you wish to check the IMAP settings for cPanel, follow the below-mentioned steps. On your computer, open the default browser and navigate to the official cPanel site. Enter the cPanel username and password to log in to your cPanel account. Under Mail, click the Email Accounts icon to list all the email accounts. Select your account and click the More drop-down menu. Select the Configure Email Client option. On the Mail Client Configuration screen, scroll down to the Manual Settings section. You can view the Secure SSL/TLS settings as well as the Non-Secure SSL/TLS settings. The IMAP settings will be displayed in the Incoming Server field. the, configure the Cpanel IMAP settings. On your computer, launch the Outlook app first. Next, click the Tools menu and select the Account Settings option. On the Email Accounts screen, click the Email tab and select New. Click the Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP radio button and select Next. Enable the Manually configure Cpanel IMAP settings or additional server types checkbox and click Next. Click the Internet Email radio button and select Next. In the Internet Email Settings window, fill the User Information, Server Information, and Logon Information fields. Select the IMAP option from the Account Type drop-down menu. Enter the cPanel email address in the User Name field.
