  1. Quality Assurance -What is it and How itWorks? Are you sure that your software functions according to what you expect-high quality and responds positively? Let’s have a check. Is it: Functional Reliable Usable Efficient Maintainable And Portable? Well if you are not confident with the quality of your software, why not try to ask for a Quality Assurance service? What is Quality Assurance? Quality assurance(QA) is a new concept in quality management. Like other ideas of quality, QA has been viewed with different definitions. According to ASQ, Quality Assurance is a kind of systematic activities imployed within the quality system that can be demonstrated to provide confidence that a product or service will fulfill requirements for quality. Moreover, QA as its name implies, assures that the result of the process will be a quality one. This involves taking measures that will help to lessen the errors and omissions before and while performing the work. What they offer? Some QA companies offers: Function Testing–This process cannot be done in an automated or in a subjective way. It consists of an interactive product in development as a typical user would. It is basically a testing service that assures your interactive project functions as what it should. Compatibility Testing-This test consists of interactive project on a number of platforms to ascertain that it functions well with today’s popular browsers and operating system.

  2. Expolatory Testing–it is an unplanned test. It depends on the tester’s judgment to explore an interactive product and assess what should be expected behavior. Usually, expolatory testing comes naturally to testers while they are on the assignment. Integration Testing– It is also called as integration and testing. It is a process wherein individual software modules are combined and tested as a group. It is usually performs after unit-testing and before validation testing. Design/Comparative Testing-This test consists of comparing your project’s design documents with the end product. This type of testing is best when combined with expolatory testing. Beta Testing– this test is mostly used in the video games community. It is also considered as a promotional stunt. It can be used to uncover remaining issues before a product becomes available to the public. User Acceptance Testing– it is one way to reduce or remove change requests and considerably reduce project costs. It a kind of acceptance testing that test from the perspective of the customers or consumers that the product is intended for. Quality Assurance has its pro’s and con’s. But one thing is for sure, QA can be beneficial to everyone and to every business if implemented properly.
