  4. Main Reason of the Temporary Structure • The possibility to start bilateral aid in year 2004 • Existing structures of UNDP in Bratislava (human capacities, financial system, experience with development in UNDP )

  5. Main Tasks of the TF ACU • Perform project cycle management • Review the ODA project proposals • Prepare background materials, report and consolidate ODA project proposals for the MFA the TF Steering Committee • Support national capacity building in ODA

  11. Co-operation with Canadian CIDA • The ODACE programme supported totally 53 projects in CZ,HU,LV, LI,PL, SK in total$2,379,480 • 31 trilateral projects in Slovakia involume$ 1,064,676

  12. Current Trilateral Projects with ADA • Reconstruction of Infrastructure and Energy Savings for Improved Living of Subotica´s Citizens • Supporting Sustainability of Serbian NGO´s using Slovak Experiences • Preventing mother-to-child HIV transmission Plus (PMTCT Plus) in Kenya

  13. Cooperation with ADA • Cooperation in capacity building of the ODA staff ( ACU was several times present on events organized by ADA ) • Discussions and consultation on implementation of Slovak ODA with ADA

  15. Women's Community Based Resource Centers in Rural Afghanistan People in Peril Association; ACU/2004/03/AF/08; 100,000 USD

Afghanistan • Reconstruction of school in Kapisa province with separate facilities for boys and girls • 100 women teachers received training to enhance pedagogical and methodological sills • 100 girls and young women received literacy courses • Main target group – girls and women in the rural areas of Afghanistan

  17. Preventing Mother-to-Child HIV Transmition in Phon Penh Magna Children at Risk; ACU/2005/05/KH/01; 200,000 USD
