  2. Where she was sentenced Mary Allen was sentenced to transportation for seven years! She left England on the Lady Penrhyn. Aged about 22 at that time (May 1787)

  3. The crime she committed Mary Allen’s crime she committed was she stole 72 shillings. In Australian money 72 shillings costs 878 cents!!

  4. Other interesting facts Mary Allen’s occupation was listed as a poor unhappy woman of the town! Sadly she died in 1843  
