  5. Changes to the Household Information Mailing Address Field Displays the family current mailing address as provided by FEMA

  7. Changes to the DHAP Family Members Information Total Number of Family Members Field Displays the total number of family members as shown on the family members section. Calculation fixed.

  8. Changes to the Lease Record Information DHAP Family Lease record field that indicates the family is a DHAP Family.

  9. Changes to the Lease Record Information FMR Field Used by the PHA to input the FMR for the area where the family is currently living based on the Rental Unit Address. This field is pre-populated whenever received from FEMA. Information should be fixed by the PHA if not correct. Payment Standard Field Used by the PHA to input the Payment Standard for the area where the family is currently living based on the Rental Unit Address. Information should be fixed by the PHA if not correct.

  10. Changes to the Lease Record Information FEMA Payment Field This field provides the PHA the amount of the payment that FEMA or CLC was making to the family or to the family’s landlord. This field is pre-populated whenever received from FEMA. If family/owner disputes the DIS record for the FEMA payment, the PHA may correct based on DAP contract/payment documentation.

  11. Changes to the Lease Record Information Lease Rent Field Used by the PHA to input the Lease the owner is charging for the unit. If family/owner disputes the DIS record for the FEMA payment or the Lease Rent. PHA may correct based on DAP contract / payment documentation.

  12. Changes to the Lease Record Information HAP Total This field is automatically calculated using the following formula: (Higher of Payment Standard / FMR / FEMA Payment) NOT TO EXCEED the Lease Rent.

  13. Changes to the Lease Record Information HAP Contract Effective Date Field Used by the PHA to input the Lease Effective Date. Cannot be before 12/01/2007. HAP Contract Termination Date Field Used by the PHA to input the Lease Termination Date. Cannot be after 02/29/2009.

  14. Changes to the Lease Record Information Program End Date Field Displays the DHAP or DVP Program End Date. Fixed field that can only be changed by HUD.

  15. Changes to the Lease Record Information Family Contacted Check Box Used by the PHA to indicate they were able to contact the family. (Field previously named INTAKE)

  16. Changes to the Lease Record Information Family Agreed to Case Management Check Box Used by the PHA to indicate the family agreed and signed the DHAP Family Obligations including but not limited to the Case Management Guidelines. (Field previously named CASE MANAGEMENT)

  17. Changes to the Lease Record Information Landlord Signed HAP Contract Check Box Used by the PHA to indicate the landlord has agreed to participate and has signed the HAP Contract and/or the Lease Addendum. (Field previously named LANDLORD)

  18. Changes to the Lease Record Information Tenant ID Field provided to the PHA to cross reference the SSN’s with their own tenant ID on their systems. This field is OPTIONAL. PHA Tenant Remarks Field provided for the PHA to input any tenant remarks as they might consider appropriate. This field is OPTIONAL.

  20. Changes to the DVP Family Members Information Total Number of Family Members Field Displays the total number of family members as shown on the family members section. Calculation fixed.

  21. Changes to the DVP Lease Information Total Tenant Payment Field Field added for the PHA to enter the required Total Tenant Payment as per the Section 8 Program rules.

  22. Changes to the DVP Lease Information HAP Total Field Calculation Fixed Displays the Calculated HAP total based on the following formula: (Lower of Payment Standard / Gross Rent) - Total Tenant Payment

  23. Changes to the DVP Lease Information DHAP Fields Removed DHAP Intake, Case Management and Landlord fields removed.

  25. PORT-OUTS vs.RE-ASSIGNMENTS

PORTS vs. RE-ASSIGNEMTS • Families should ONLY be PORTED to another PHA if the port-out PHA has the family under a HAP Contract (DRSC Signed). • PHA porting-out MUST contact the receiving PHA to validate their DHAP participation and to let them know about the family port. • PHA’s can only port to DHAP participating PHA’s. See list of participating PHA at: • If the family is not yet under a HAP contract, it should NOT be ported, but RE-ASSIGNED.   27. PORTS vs. RE-ASSIGNMENTS HAP Contract Effective Date Field Used by the PHA to input the Lease Effective Date. HAP Contract Termination Date Field Used by the PHA to input the Lease Termination Date. For PORT-OUTS please enter the date the current HAP Contract ends BEFORE porting out.
