If 32 of them germinate, can you conclude (at the 5% level of significance) that the stimulant helps? • This was a homework problem. The method that you should use is the Binomial Distribution or the Gaussian Approximation to it. • = 0.024 • = 0.069 • The Poisson Distribution is when n is very large and p is very small. In this case the Binomial is indistinguishable from the Poisson.
