Sigmund Freud •  In 1923, he published his work, The Ego and the Id . • He stresses the importance of sexual drive, infantile sexuality, and sexual energy (also known as libido).   • He would say that our sexual experiences as children affect what our personality will be like as adults.   • The “id” is the part of the mind that is driven by the “instinctual sexual drives which require satisfaction” Thornton, S. Η πρώτη καταγραφή • Alfred Charles Kinsey was an American biologist, professor of entomology and zoology, and sexologist. • He is best known for writing "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male" (1948) and "Sexual Behavior in the Human Female" (1953), also known as the Kinsey Reports, as well as the Kinsey scale. • Kinsey'sresearch on human sexuality, foundational to the field of sexology, provoked controversy in the 1940s and 1950s.
