  3. Project objectives • Keeping the maritime heritage alive and visible • Rising awareness on marine environment • Networking partners: crews, boat builders and youth of the Baltic Sea Area • Exchange knowhow on shipbuilding, restoration of vintage ships, sailing and maritime heritage

  4. Project activities • Marketing of the project • Sailing Training • Open days • Exchange of shipbuilders

  5. How far are we? LAG Northwest Zealand • Has started the production of the common brochure in English. • Open Days for 2011 are completed • Web cam installed near shipyard

  6. How far are we? LAG Hiiumaa • Has started the production of the common websites in English and links to the partners websites. • Sailing trainings for youth for 2010 and 2011 completed • Exchange of ship builders is going on • Outside this project – the shipbuilding has started

  8. How far are we? LAG Bornholm • Bornholm Traebådelaugis building a replica of a bornholmian decked fishing boat from 1866 (planned lauch in May 2012), the “Ota” with the help from local people • Web cam installed in the shipyard

  10. How far are we? LAG Karhuseutu/IHANA traditional ship association • Has launced the IHANA ship in July 2010 • Ihana has sailed her first season 2011 • Has completed Open Days for 2010 and 2011 • Will produce  the virtual game about galleass Ihana sailing around the Baltic Sea
