  2. WATER LEVELS Global average sea levels have risen by 10 - 25 cm over the past 100 years In the next 100 years water levels could rise about 50 cm more

  3. Polar Bear Extinction • Polar bears could be extinct in 100 years if climate change continues to melt the North Pole's ice.

  4. Coral Reefs • For years they have been threatened by man. Physical destruction from boats, fishing and pollution. Now their biggest threat may be from climate change.

  5. Bogged off • Peat lands are the ultimate carbon store. • It is estimated that peat lands contain 5,000 tones of carbon per hectare .

  6. Greenhouse gasses • Scientists agree that the burning of fossil fuels like oil and coal cause greenhouse gasses to escape into the air
