Bell Work: What was the overall purpose of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense? How does it provide unity for the colonies- compare that with the Declaration of Independence.


  • Examine the Declaration of Independence- answer the respective questions.

  • Around the Horn Competition… Common Sense and American Crisis.

  • Monday- the Revolution!

  • We may as well assert that because a child has thriven upon milk, that it is never to have meat.

  • We have boasted the protection of Great Britain without considering that her motive was interest, not attachment.
