  2. What is OST File? • OST file is the offline storage table. It works in offline mode. All the modification done in offline mode will be updated once it is sync with internet. Outlook file contains contacts, calendar, emails,etc.

  3. What is PST File? • PST is a personal storage table. It is stored on user hard disk. PST files are also used by IMAP and HTTP. It consist of emails, journals, calendar, etc.

  4. Why do we need to import OST to PST? • When the system gets attacked by a virus. • Power failure during synchronization of the file. • When storage is full. • When there is an issue in the network during synchronization of the file. • When a hard drive has a bad sector. • Microsoft Outlook starts having bug and issues. • Bugs in Storage device.

  6. Manual Method • Step1) Open Outlook. Click on file >> info >> account setting. • Step2) From account setting click on Microsoft exchange. • Step3) Click on more settings. • Step4) Select “Advanced” from Microsoft Windows Exchange. • Step5) Click on “offline folder” setting. • Step6) Select path for OST file. • Step7) Click on OK then on finish.
