  1. Title V Self-Governance Tribal Delegation Meetings Anna Old Elk, Program Analyst - TDM Coordinator Office of Tribal Self-Governance (OTSG)

  2. Tribal Delegation Meetings (TDMs) • Established as a means for direct communication between the Director and Tribal Leaders in a true government-to-government setting • Opportunity to discuss health-related projects, issues and concerns

  3. OTSG Facilitation • Conduct TDMs for Tribes with Self-Governance compacts under Title V of the ISDEAA. • Provide briefings for Director and Senior Staff • Track and monitor follow-up actions and communications

  4. Coordination & Partnership • OTSG serves as a liaison between Tribes and the IHS • As subject matter experts, provide relevant information for briefings • Identify staff to attend and participate • Ensure all follow-up activities are completed and notify OTSG

  5. Follow-Up • Review acknowledgement letter from OTSG and provide comments • Notify OTSG of actions taken and date completed
