  2. TELL ME HOW YOU FELT!! On a sheet of paper, write 2 to 3 sentences on how you felt about what I just did to you!! Were you mad, happy, frustrated, angry, non-caring, panicky, annoyed, etc etc.

  4. What is it????? Stress – is the body and mind’s response to a demand. YOU MAY NOT EVEN BE AWARE YOU ARE UNDER STRESS!!!! Stressor – any situation that puts a demand on the body or mind.

  5. STRESS AND STRESSORS!!! Parents pregnancy Marriage job Traffic ticket boyfriend/girlfriend Teachers school Boss friends Government family Economy death Illness rules Drugs/alcohol school Divorce money Bills food

  6. 5 Stress Categories 1.) Environmental-pollution/poverty/weather 2.) Biological – illness/injury/disability 3.) Thinking – test/speech 4.) Behavioral- exercise/sleep/drugs 5.) Life change – positive or negative changes – death in family, marriage, college, failing classes etc.

  7. What stress does to your body???

  8. In your notes… Write down EVERYTHING that has happened to you in the past year with the number next to it. So since August 2012 till now, if it happened to you, write it down. After you are finished, add up the total amount of points.

  9. What your score means?? • If your score is less than 100, your life has changed little. • If your score is between 100-200, you have experienced moderate changes. • If you score is more than 200, your life has changed significantly.
