Bibliography style • Bibliography (from Greek βιβλιογραφία, bibliographia, literally "book writing"), as a practice, is the academic study of books as physical, cultural objects. • A bibliography, the product of the practice of bibliography, is a systematic list of books and other works such as journalarticles. EndNote • EndNote is a software package that allows you to store and organise your references. • You can add references into EndNote one at a time, or transfer groups of references found in databases and library catalogues. • These stored references can later be transferred from EndNote into a Microsoft Word document. • The transfer process automatically generates correctly styled in-text citations and an end-of-paper reference bibliography.   27. Put Some Articles Into the Library • Enter the database of your choice • Mark some records for articles etc. • Get them into your EndNote library This is very simple in some databases, not so simple in others. Seyedhosseinalaei

  28. Importing From Databases 1. Before entering any database, open Endnote. 2. From the database’s search results screen, look for something that says SAVE or EXPORT 3. Always save/export the FULL or LONG version of the record if you are given a choice 4. If there is no direct-export format for EndNote, you will save the file to your desktop.
