The New CHARTER OAK INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY – Size and Program

  • A 4 section per grade school with 480 K-5 students

  • Room for 80 PreK students in 5 classrooms

  • Implementation of the full West Hartford Curriculum

  • Implementation of the IB-PYP Curriculum

  • Enhancements unique to Charter Oak – World Language PK-5, Quest 1-5 and Math Quest 1-5


General timeframes
General Timeframes

  • 2013-14 – Design the new school

  • 2014-15 – Start construction

  • 2015-16 – Complete construction

  • 2016-17 – Open the new school
