  9. VoIP Components Application Server – Manages call progress and processing. Media Server – Manages media functions such as digit detection, announcements, and voice messaging. Route Management Server – Provides proxy routing and translates the elements supporting management of routes and resources, scalability, load balancing and prevents redundancy. Element Management Server – Provides provisioning and management for system elements.
