  2. Baseball is my favorite sport.

  3. My favorite baseball player is A-Rod.

  4. A-Rod’s real name is Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez. He was born on July 27, 1975 in New York City.

  5. A-Rod’s family is originally from the Dominican Republic. He lived there as a child but grew up mainly in Miami, Florida.

  6. When he was 18, A-Rod became one of the youngest players ever to play in Major League Baseball. He played for the Seattle Mariners in Seattle, Washington.

  7. After he left the Mariners, A-Rod played for the Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas. He continued to be an awesome hitter and played shortstop.

  8. In 2003, while still playing for the Texas Rangers, A-Rod was named the Most Valuable Player in the American League.

  9. Now, A-Rod plays 3rd base for the Yankees. I live in New York so now I can go watch him play!

  10. A-Rod is cool for a lot of reasons; I think he’s the best baseball player in all of baseball and he’s Latino like me.A-Rod rocks!
