  3. Stomach Muscles • The stomach’s muscles break down all food and all chemicals into a liquid. • Acid waves work on a consistent basis. • The stomach is a muscular organ it can change its shape depending on the amount of food. • Acid waves work on a regular schedule to digest food.

  4. Stomach Muscles • Although the stomach is a useful organ, people can, and have lived without a stomach if it has been removed because of disease! Now for diseases

  5. Peptic Ulcer • The most common ulcer of an area of the gastric tract that is usually acidic and extremely painful!

  6. Acid Reflux • A distillation technique involving the condensation of vapors and the return of this condensate to the system from which it originated from.

  7. Gastroparesis • A condition consisting of a paresis of the stomach , resulting in food remaining in the stomach for longer time than normal.

  8. Stomach Cancer • Refers to cancer arising from any port of the stomach.

  9. Types of Stomach Ache’s • Constipation • Diarrhea • Food • Stress
