  1. Origins • Need for collaboration between professional associations serving APG • Modeled after Combined Professional Association (CPA) serving Fort Monmouth • Strong cooperation with CPA, Fort Monmouth associations, APG military and civilian, and local associations • Stood-up in February 2009

Purpose/Role • APG PAN’s Purpose is to: • collaborate on matters of mutual interest and • coordinate/support program activities of the Professional Associations supporting the APG • PAN is an informal group composed of the Presidents (or their designated representative) of member APG Professional Associations. • The APG PAN originated to: • assist in the coordination of the growing number of professional associations supporting the APG community and • accommodate the needs of our brethren and their associations that may be transitioning from other locations due to BRAC.

  3. PAN Meetings • The PAN meets regularly: • to exchange information, distribute, and publicize information on upcoming events of the various organizations, here at APG and BRAC-affected locations, • to the extent possible to harmonize these events, • to support combined meetings where the APG tenant organization leaders can address all the organization at one time, in lieu of each of the chapters individually, and • through coordination with lead organizations, to facilitate joint events such as APG organizations showcases and command symposiums.
