  2. INTRODUCTION This web quest is designed for ninth graders. It is a one student project and can be helpful in the belief of Fate and Luck. Many people believe that it is luck when something good happens to them but it also can be Fate. The lesson of this web quest is meant for the students to be able to find out the difference between the act of Fate and an act of Luck.

  3. Task The task is to distinguish between Fate and Luck. Why are certain things that happen in life Fate and why are they luck?Do most people believe in luck and/or fate?Create a scenario on any one of the two (Fate or Luck) and give an explanation as in why it is fate or luck.

Process Answer the following questions: • What is Luck? • What is Fate? • What are some quotes on luck? • What are some quotes on Fate? • Analyze one story of your choice and describe why you think it is luck or fate. • Pick an example of a twisted fate and describe how it is twisted. • Pick a movie about luck and explain it. • Create a scenario (photo story, PowerPoint, video tape etc.) on either fate or luck and at the end describe why you picked it and why it is fate/luck.

  6. Conclusion In conclusion, you should have learned the difference between fate and luck.You should be able to know whether it is fate or luck, the next time something happens to you. You will be graded on the amount of information you have gathered.Your scenario should be very well explained and should show the affect on a person before and after fate/luck have occured.This can be an easy and fun project if you put best foot forward and explain thoroughly. You should give it the best of your ability and make you teacher proud. Have Fun!
