  • To give primacy to the human & spiritual rather than the material values of life.

  • To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

  • To promote the adoption & the application of higher social, business, & professional

    standards.

  • To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, & serviceable citizenship.

  • To provide, through Kiwanis Clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render

  • altruistic service, & to build better communities.

  • To cooperate in creating & maintaining that sound public opinion & high idealism which make

possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, & goodwill.

GET TO KNOW OUR NEW MEMBER

Heavenly Father:

Help us to do our very best this day, not by worrying about whether we are right but by doing the right thing. May we understand that the roots of happiness grow deepest in the soil of service.

And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen

Our once-a-year Kiwanis College (formerly Zone Conference) was held  for Divisions 3,4 and 5 Saturday, 3/11 in Lake City. Carl Krouch and Leigh Roberts represented the Beaches Club. and I represented  Division 5.

The workshops format and content this year were different from previous years. I was told by some of those who attended that the things they learned about being a more effective Kiwanian  were certainly worth the very early Saturday morning drive.
