  • Widen Money Advice Gateway

  • DAS Administrator administers DPPs from free sector money advisers

  • Include the private sector

  • New central IT system – DASH

  • Joint DPP for couples

  • DPPs for single debts

  • 6-month payment holiday

  • Change payment distribution process

  • Recovers costs to public purse

Applications:

  • 2273 DPP applications under new Regulations

    • 3319 approved financial year 2010/11

    • 1910 approved financial year 2011/12

  • 784 joint applications - 475 joint applications approved - 309 joint applications rejected

  • 130 applications with single debt - 73 applications approved - 67 applications rejected

  • 993 applications to vary a DPP

    • 974 variations approved

    • 21 variations rejected

      Fair & Reasonable Tests:

  • Approx 4300 applications where F&R carried out

  • Approx 2700 applications approved following F&R test
