    3. Questions Does… perimeter trap cropping (PTC) affect beetle migration into fields? PTC reduce bacterial wilt transmission? Is Admire effective against cuke beetles? Does Admire used in various combinations with PTC affect early season bacterial wilt? Is there a yield difference?

    4. The Players Perimeter trap crop – Turks Turban squash Found to be attractive to cucumber beetles in previous OSU studies Main crop – Howden pumpkins Popular, large Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin Bacterial wilt susceptible Admire (Imidacloprid)- Systemic insecticide Used on both trap crop and main crop at various rates
