Some states have Occupational Health and Safety Act and few of them have Work Health and Safety Act. It is the duty of employer to provide proper training and education to the workmen to ensure the safety of the employees. So in order to prevent injuries and deaths at the workplace due to the lack of training and negligence these acts has made it mandatory to have a licence to operate the EWP, Forklifts and other type of high power mechanical vehicles.
