  3. Instructions for presentation on Monday: • Include these items/ideas in a power point or prezi: • ___/5One slide that provides a summary of your book (bullet points or one paragraph). Be aware that your peers have not read this book, and explain carefully. • ___/30 One visual from each group member (one slide for each), and an explanation of the argument represented in this visual. Include author’s/artist’s purpose, the tone represented in the visual, and either logos, ethos, or pathos. Also discuss how this visual argument represents an aspect of your book (Analyze these in the same way we analyzed the depression-era photos and comics). If your visual cannot be analyzed in this way, then choose a different visual argument. • ___/5One slide that shares 2-3 of your discussion points from this week (from your top 5 original questions and/or from your HW questions), and explain why these points are important to the book as a whole. • ___/15 One slide that has a quote from each group member, summing up your experience with this novel and subsequent opinion of it, both as a story AND as a piece of text. • ___/5Your presentation slides should be well-edited and show a thorough knowledge of the book your group read. • ___/15 Typed, group questions answered in complete sentences and edited thoroughly • Email me your PP or Prezi by midnight on Sunday, September 15thto annflurry@smsd.org.
