    1. Welcome to the NAPA Commercial Systems Group product training. In this session we will look at one of our newest NAPA B 2 B initiatives, NAPA PROLink.Welcome to the NAPA Commercial Systems Group product training. A new way for Commercial Accounts to purchase electronically from NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores Wholesale Customers can Browse the NAPA Catalog online It’s Internet Based No Software to Install or Maintain No Data Updates No Special Hardware Requirements No Cost to the Customer (other than a PC & ISP) Once the NAPA Store is on the WAN, it’s scalable – Many Customers Can Connect Simultaneously What is NAPA PROLink? NAPA ProLink is the new internet based - commercial parts sales solution. If you have been a NAPA ACCESS user, you will appreciate just how much easier NAPA PROLink is to use. This solution will provide customers with a more reliable connection to their serving NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores without any need to install software, run updates or have special hardware installed to do business. There is no cost to the customer for this service other than having a Windows based PC and an Internet connection. NAPA PROLink is also scalable, which means that multiple customers can use the system simultaneously without having to add lines or modems to the store, and without having to install software or hardware at the shop’s place of business. Larger Shops can even have multiple PROLink sessions running at the same time with the same login and password. NAPA ProLink is the new internet based - commercial parts sales solution. Serving NAPA Store must be on the NAPA Wide Area Network Minimum T-710 J System or better DVD Catalog in TAMS Customer must have an account in TAMS Customer must be setup as an ACCESS customer NAPA Store Requirements Your servicing NAPA AUTO PARTS Store must also be on the NAPA Wide Area Network. The minimum system requirement is a T-710J or better with the ability to read the new DVD catalog. And, they must be setup in the TAMS system as an ACCESS account.     5. NAPA PROLink is not a single piece of software – it’s a combination of an interactive website, the new NAPA PartsPRO Catalog, the new wide area network and TAMS. Again, since NAPA PROLink is a website, dealer customers wishing to use NAPA PROLink simply go to www.napaprolink.com and click on the 'Register with NAPA PROLink' hyperlink in the left margin. There is also a new link for our TRACS LINK or NET users on version 4.90 to update to version 4.9.5 and begin using the E-procurement feature ( Internet based NAPA access integration for your LINK or NET system ).Again, since NAPA PROLink is a website, dealer customers wishing to use NAPA PROLink simply go to www.napaprolink.com and click on the 'Register with NAPA PROLink' hyperlink in the left margin. There is also a new link for our TRACS LINK or NET users on version 4.90 to update to version 4.9.5 and begin using the E-procurement feature ( Internet based NAPA access integration for your LINK or NET system ).

    7. A one-page NAPA PROLink registration screen will appear next. The dealer then assigns themselves a user login and password and fills in some basic information about their shop.     8. A 10 digit NAPA PROLink account number will be shown at the top of the next screen.     9. The NAPA Auto Parts Store then enters this number into the TAMS phone file under SM3, # 4. There is a new field- #9 PROLink ID where this number needs to be entered. If a store has difficulty with this process, they may also call the NAPA Commercial Systems Group support technicians at 1-800-742-3578 with this 10-digit number, the 9-digit TAMS store number and the customers TAMS ACCESS password. Once this number is plugged into TAMS, the customer is ready to logon to the NAPA PROLink website using their account login and password. The NAPA Auto Parts Store then enters this number into the TAMS phone file under SM3, # 4. There is a new field- #9 PROLink ID where this number needs to be entered. If a store has difficulty with this process, they may also call the NAPA Commercial Systems Group support technicians at 1-800-742-3578 with this 10-digit number, the 9-digit TAMS store number and the customers TAMS ACCESS password. Once this number is plugged into TAMS, the customer is ready to logon to the NAPA PROLink website using their account login and password.

The NAPA PROLink welcome page will be displayed after the dealer logs in showing the dealer name, the order name and the primary store that the user is logged into in the blue banner across the top of the page. A new feature in the banner are is the ability to select or de-select the Pricing and Availability option when doing inquiries.     22. This additional information includes product attributes, warranty, MSDS and product images. We'll look at a sample product image of this alternator. If you want to add parts directly to an order, you may do so on this screen by entering the Line Code, Part number, and a Quantity in the appropriate fields indicated and clicking the “Add To Order” button.     53. Another feature recently added to PROLink is the ability to send a Stock Order to your servicing NAPA Store.     54. Parts may be added to a list by line code and part number. A specific name for the stock order should also be entered. When all desired items are entered, the order may be saved by clicking the “Save” button on the form. These stock orders are generally parts that will be ordered on a recurring basis and the list act as a templates allowing for quick entry of quantities once the order is ready to be placed.Parts may be added to a list by line code and part number. All quantities and parts entries should be made first, then the “Update Order and DC Quantities” button should be clicked. If there is a P.O. number that will be used for this order, it should be entered AFTERWARD and the “Change” button clicked. Once the order is complete, it may be saved, deleted, or submitted. If the order has been saved previously, it is a good idea to click on the “Latest Availability” link to make certain the parts are still in stock.Order quantities may be entered for parts on the list as needed.
