  3. The place where I live... I live on Mazovia plain . It is the biggest province in my country. The largest city in Mazovia is Warsaw-the capital of Poland.

  4. My Province Mazovia Province covers an area of 35,597 square kilometers and is the largest administrative region of the country. Its area accounts for 11.4% of Poland's territory. The biggest city of this province is Warsaw-the capital of country. From the west Mazovia Province borders on Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Łódzkie Provinces; from the north on Warmińsko-Mazurskie; from the east on Podlaskie and Lubelskie, and from the south - on Świętokrzyskie Province. The populace is 142 person per square metres

  5. Warsaw... The areas with the highest level of urbanization are located in Warsaw. A metropolis of almost 2-million which fulfills therequirements of Poland's capital and of the Warsaw-area communities. The other highly urbanized areas of Mazovia Province include the cities of Płock and Radom. There is a total of 83 towns and 8,824 villages in the region. Piastów, Legionowo and Warsaw are the most populated cities.

  6. Kampinoski National Park Kampinoski National Park is located in the north-west of Warsaw, being the only national park which borders with a capital with over a million inhabitants. It is also one of the largest national parks of the European lowland, which stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Bug River. The Park was founded on January 19, 1959 in order to protect the remnants of the Kampinos Forest in the old valley of the Vistula River. The current Park area is 36,533 ha, of which 15 % is under strict protection.

  7. Climate The climate is moderate. The summer average temperature is 20oC and winter is –5oC. Rainfall amounts to 500mm per year.
