  3. www.aeon.ag What exactly is the Nudura Building System? Nudura is an integrated form system for building concrete walls, known as an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF). The system uses foam blocks that lock together similar to toy building blocks, which build a wall that is then filled with reinforcing steel and concrete. A Nudura Form Unit has three main parts • Two layers of recyclable EPS (Expanded PolyStyrene) Foam form a double layer of insulation protection • Middle space which becomes the concrete core and strength of the wall • Nudura’s patented hinged folding web, which allows the forms to be folded flat for efficient transport and have pre placed slots for locking in steel reinforcing bars Phone: (268) 720-7600 mail@aeon.agFax: (268) 462-2180

  13. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built Bracing The Nudura alignment system is then attached to the wall to provide three functions. • To provide secure temporary bracing for the forms. • The diagonal support (turnbuckle) easily turns to adjust the wall to be plumb and straight.   17. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built Pouring the Concrete Concrete is then poured in to the form and vibrated or rodded to consolidate the concrete.   19. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built Working in the foam means the plumbers and electricians do not need to be working during wall construction as they would with a concrete block wall.   21. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built The Roof There are literally are dozens of ways to attach a roof to a Nudura wall. When building for high wind conditions such as hurricanes or tornadoes, it is recommended to anchor the roof directly into the concrete.   22. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built Exterior Siding Any code approved exterior finish can be attached to a Nudura wall. Integrated into the foam insulation are vertical strips of high density plastic. These strips can hold a screw or a nail with the same strength as a wood stud.   23. www.aeon.ag How a Nudura Home is Built Any type of paneling (wood, vinyl, concrete etc.) can be nailed or screwed to the stripes the same as wood or steel studs.
