  1. AB 1390, Firebaugh • Fifty percent of moneys appropriated until January 1, 2007, for the Carl Moyer program, programs to fund the purchase of reduced emission school buses, and diesel mitigation programs, must be appropriated in a manner that,-directly reduces air contaminants or the public health risks associated with air contaminants, in communities with the most significant exposure to air contaminants or localized air contaminants, or both, including communities of minority populations or low-income populations, or both.

  2. Poverty: This picture shows the grids that have been identified as having 10% or more of the population below the Federal Poverty Line

  3. Cancer Risk : This file shows grids with a cancer risk of 1,000 in a million. Cancer risk data is from the MatesII study.

  4. PM: This file shows grids with a PM exposure risk of 46 micrograms per million. The measure is based on the Annual Average Mean, as recorded by the AQMD monitoring network.
