  • Objective:

  • The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop mathematics skills and concepts through remedial instruction and practice. • Students can expect to have homework assigned for each class, (with written and/or Study Island).

  • Late homework is accepted and will earn a grade of no more than 70%.

  • Homework turned in on time will receive a grade of 100% - every problem attempted and completed showing adequate work and effort.

  • 50% - at least half of the problems attempted and completed showing adequate work and effort.

  • 0% - missing assignment, work is not shown, or attempted only a small fraction of the problems.

  • Occasionally homework will be graded from 0% – 100% based on the correctness of a subset of the questions.

  • Note: In either case, students will not receive credit unless their work steps are clearly shown. No Work=No Credit.
