  5. RPF’s Main Activities A. Financing Research Projects through the Design and Monitoring of Competitive Programmes  Funds from government budget & Structural Funds of the European Union B. Managing European Research and Innovation Programmes and Promotion of International Cooperation in Research and Innovation involvement of Cypriot scientists in European programmes, cooperation with international organisations (ESF, EUREKA, AAL,CERN) implementation of bilateral Agreements / Protocols on R&D between Cyprus & other countries Cyprus – Austria Joint Committee Meeting 6 – 7 October 2011, Nicosia
