  2. Introduction • Peaceful coexistence means when we live peacefully. It´s important because without peaceful coexistence there is going to be more conflicts in the world.

  3. Meaning of Peaceful Coexistence • Coexist: live together and accept diversity. • Peaceful: to be pacific. Peaceful coexistence to live together and accept diversity in peace.

  4. How we can get a Peaceful Coexistence? • Know and respect our rights. • Living together, without conflicts and no wars. • Tolerance • Respect each other. • Empathy.

  5. Conflicts Every day we see a lot of conflicts in the world. • Types of conflicts: Political Conflicts Social Conflicts Family conflicts Personal conflicts Cultural conflicts Jocy Chávez- Tafur Interview

  6. We did a survey with fourth and fifth graders about their daily conflicts. We asked 60 kids, from that 60 kids, 52 kids have conflicts in its daily life, more than the 50% have conflicts with their brothers or sisters. Fourth Grade Survey

  7. Causes and Effects • Causes: • Relastionship and communication • Lack of information • Values • Roles • Effects: • Destruction • Strikes • Crisis (economical, cultural and social) • Wars

Groups that Promote Peaceful Coexistence • There are many groups that promote peaceful coexistence are the United Nations (N.U.), Amala Foundation, and Unicef. • All these groups promote peace around the world. • We had an interview with Mario Solari Official of Programs in the United Nations, we took a lot of information from this interview. Detailed Information of the Groups • The United Nations: This group started after the 2 world wars some people made a group to have peace in the whole world. • Amala Foundation: This is a group that do projects in Africa . They have do the One Village Project or the Baghtti Mines School. • Unicef: They work for the kids´ rights and against the explotation of kids. Interview to Mario Solari

  10. Conclusion • In conclusion, peaceful coexistence means when we live together peacefully. To get this we need to solve our conflicts, and there are some groups that promote this. • Coexistence can be separated into two words “co-”and “exist-”. "co-" means "together“;and “exist-”means "to be or to live“. • In conclusion “Peaceful Coexistence” is important because with out “Peaceful Coexistence” the world can become a disaster. • I learned what peaceful-coexistence mean it means living in peace with each other on earth and around you also being tolerant, pacific and pasive.
