  1. CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATOR Solage Alexander October 30, 2009

  2. Salary • The salary of crime scene investigator a year is about $44,000 or forty-four thousand dollars. The reason why I get so much is because we work Monday- Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. `

  3. Challenges • The two biggest challenges are: to apply for scientific aptitude in crime scene evidence acknowledging and processing with the final goal of successful trial of the offender in a court of law.

  4. Attitude • My attitude would be positive because I want to find the criminal and make him pay for his damage. • I would be excited from just knowing that I’ve achieved my goal.

  5. Education • You must have a college degree if you wish to be a professional crime scene investigator. • The crime scene investigators degree might be in: investigative forensics, criminal justice/crime scene investigation, or crime scene technology. • To work in a crime lab you must have a bachelor’s degree in either chemistry or biology

  6. Courses • An official document in crime scene investigation can help a working CSI further develop the professional skills needed for career progress. • A typical crime scene investigation certificate includes courses such as: fingerprinting techniques, bloodstain pattern analysis, forensic digital imaging, hand writing examination, and crime scene photography.

  7. Future Outlook • In the future there will be a need to continue working as a CSI because we’re going to need different types of people to investigate different types of crimes. • So, in conclusion I think that if you want to be a CSI get your education, and pay close attention to examinations that are being done in the class. You’ll be very SUCCESSFUL!!!!!

  8. Closing • Thank You and I hope you enjoyed my presentation!
