  2. This is our first year having a 5th and 6th grade Beta Club 161 new members were inducted this year in 5th – 8th grades Beta Club Induction was held at Landrum High School on February 23rd at 6:00 p.m. and we had a huge crowd – approximately 500 people were in attendance Beta Club

  6. Approximately 40 7th and 8th grade students volunteered their time to keep the campus of CGS clean Tuesday afternoon. Another 40 5th and 6th graders have volunteered to weed the flower beds Thursday afternoon Celebrating Beta Week Students in Service

  9. National Beta Club Week is the perfect time to recognize our Outstanding Scholars One Jr. Beta Club member has been selected from each grade level to be recognized for outstanding scholarship Outstanding Scholars

  10. 5th Grade: • Abby Campuzano • Abby’s teachers had this to say about her: • “Abby is very studious, always kind, and a great role model for others to look up to!” Outstanding Scholars

  11. 6th Grade: • Chandler Adams • Chandler’s teachers had this to say about him: • “Chandler is very conscientious about all of his assignments. He takes the time to think things through and goes above and beyond what is required. He is a great kid and we are excited to honor him with this award.” Outstanding Scholars

  12. 7th Grade: • Annie Kate Hodge • Annie Kate’s teachers had this to say about her: • “Annie Kate always goes above and beyond what is required. In her quest for knowledge, she wants to ensure that she fully understands content. This proves her intrinsic motivation to excel.” Outstanding Scholars

  13. 8th Grade: • Macy Trainor • Macy’s teachers had this to say about her: • “Macy excels in every class. She is naturally bright, but she was chosen for her willingness to work hard when it is required of her, especially when it isn’t easy or particularly fun. She never complains.” Outstanding Scholars
