  5. Law of Sine Consider the following triangle  • Find h in terms of a and the sine of an angle. • Find h in terms of b and the sine of an angle. • We know that the value of h is the same in both of the smaller triangles. • So, if h = h, then aSinB=bSinA. • We can rearrange this to get:

  6. Law of Sine We use the Law of Sine to solve for a missing side or angle of a triangle that is not a right triangle. The formula can be written as but we usually only use two parts of the formula.
