Current vision statement

Current Vision Statement

The MRFA is a proud community of dynamic and progressive professionals.

Process:

In 2001 or 2002, MRFA President Jerre Paquette and Don Watts of the ADC organized a representative group of faculty members and led an exercise based on determining words, phrases or concepts that reflected who we were and who we wanted or expected to become.

Our process

Our Process

  • Rather than developing a new vision statement through a survey or some other process, the committee decided to develop one or more draft vision statements and distribute them to the membership for comment ranging from proposed minor revisions to entirely new statements.

  • The Executive would like increasing engagement in the MRFA to be one of the objectives of soliciting feedback and will send the draft statements to Chairs and department communicators with a request that they be discussed at a department meeting.
