Caboolture and Narangba. • During the Down Turn our Turnover dropped by 70 % in 1 month. • Stayed down for the next 6 Months. • Down Turn plan in place. ( Unprepared for Severity of Downturn. )

  2. Immediate ACTIONS TAKEN • Reduced Employee Numbers. ( 25% Reduction ) • 4 Day Week. Used Annual Leave for the 5th Day. • Cut all Overtime. • Built Stock. ( Used Existing Material ) • Reduced our Superannuation back to 9 %. • Retained Cash. • Trained Remainder of our Employees • Didn’t Get Bogged Down by Bad News. • React to Short Term, But Plan for long Term.

  3. OTHER ACTIONS TO CONSIDER • Retain Cash. • Sell off Stock. • Negotiate Longer Payment Terms with Suppliers. • Offer Discounts for early Payments. • Vary BAS / A.T.O. Payments. • Develop a Cash Flow Forecast. • Strengthen Relationships. ( Owners, Employees, Suppliers, Customers. )
