High School 101 • 6 period day/ 55 minute classes • Progress Report every 6 weeks • Final grades posted at the conclusion of each semester • Yearlong Course = 1.0 credits • One Semester Course = .5 credits • Grading Scale: A (90-100) B (80-89) C (70-79) • 7 additional points are added to a final grade higher than 70 in approved Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses

  25. Sports Eligibility • To participate in any sport, you must pass 5 out of 6 courses the preceding semester - summer school is considered an extension of spring semester • All athletes must be on track to graduate at the beginning of each school year

  26. Side Notes • We will not base your class schedule around lunch with friends • No schedule changes for teacher preference or individual learning styles • Not every class is strictly grade or age defined

  27. Additional Side Notes • Upperclassmen are given first priority in scheduling electives • Class size can be more than 30 • Leveling Schedules could change to balance the number of students in a classroom. This will occur during the first 15 days of each semester
