  3. Seymour school • Bring in a science toy for one of your four hours. • Bring in by tomorrow. • New and unwrapped

  4. St. francis house • For the terminally ill to die with dignity • They need paper towels • If you bring in 4 rolls; we’ll give you one of your 4 projects

  5. SHS guest speaker • On Tuesday Dec. 14th there will be a guest speaker in the LGI at 2:15. • A physician from Upstate will be talking about careers in the medical field. • We will offer this as one of your 4 projects. • Please sign in with Mrs Ward or one of our officers.

  6. cap • CAP: Cathedral at Pompei • Inner city, private school for elementary kids • Mostly the ‘new’ immigrants • Need science help

  7. What we can do • We want to make ‘kits’ to help teachers with science objectives • Ex: physical and chemical changes • gak: polymers • properties of gases acid/base/neutral substances ideas??

  8. For the teachers • Make worksheets for • Students • Teachers: with answers and objectives

  9. kits • Chemicals • Equipment • Worksheets run off • Maybe we can go to CAP and ‘teach’ the units we made.

  10. money • We applied for a grant…will know tomorrow. • If we don’t get the grant, we will use our dues money • Maybe get some matching $$$?

  11. Meeting dates to make kits • Monday: Dec 13 • Monday: Jan 10 • Monday: Jan 17 • (would like to get the kits to them by March 1 for use this year)
